Čolpa: Privileged Čović is not only blackmailing the democratic majority but also BiH's NATO path

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Yesterday's statement by the president of the HDZ of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, that the Government of the Federation of BiH will not be formed until the Election Law of BiH is amended, is a complete failure of the policy of all domestic and foreign actors who have allowed the HDZ to have a privileged position compared to other political parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina for years, reacted the Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH and president of the Civic Alliance, Nihad Čolpa.

Čopla stated that Čović has shown "that he is ready to block the entire political life in the Federation of BiH, ignoring the will of all other political parties and citizens, unless his wishes are met, even if his demands are anti-civilizational and anti-European."

"Finally, Čović's joining Milorad Dodik in blocking the NATO path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which he has been demonstrating very openly in recent days, has once again exposed his hypocritical policy, which will bring nothing good to any citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not even to the Bosnian Croats, for whom Čović swears and on whose shoulders he has been enriching himself for over 20 years."

"By blocking the NATO path, Dodik and Čović are extinguishing the hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will finally enter calmer waters, and the citizens of this country, of all nationalities and those who do not declare themselves as such, will finally begin to live a life worthy of a human being," believes the president of GS.

"Čović's statement that there will be a reaction if 'Mr. Dodik continues to be conditioned by the NATO path of BiH', and then the sentence in the same statement that there will be no formation of government in the Federation without changes to the Election Law, shows how low and worthless Čović considers all citizens of the Federation to whom he addresses," concludes Čolpa.
