SARAJevo, (Patria) - Member of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament Nihad Čolpa reacted to the announced new FBiH borrowing.
"The ruling coalition does not even want to open talks on establishing government at the FBiH level; the only thing they will surely discuss and agree on is new credit borrowing. The decimated government in a technical mandate has neither the capacity, legitimacy, nor a program of measures for economic recovery that could possibly justify new credit borrowing from citizens," stated Nihad Čolpa.
He says that the scale of the crisis is best reflected in the fact that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an absolute world record holder without an elected government.
"I fear that abandoning talks to form a government is a new 'roadmap' for the division of FBiH. If the government is not formed soon in accordance with the will of the voters from 2018, the executive government of FBiH could gradually melt away, which is likely the plan of those who want a divided country. Based on the aforementioned facts, it is clear that the formation of the Council of Ministers without the Federal government is one of the historical political mistakes. I see a potential way out of the political crisis in FBiH in the FBiH Parliament conditioning new credit borrowing on the formation of a new government and a previously developed plan for economic recovery," said Čolpa.
