(Patria) - US Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and US President Donald Trump's son-in-law, businessman Jared Kushner, are expected to participate in peace negotiations with Iran in Islamabad, CNN reported, citing US administration officials, TASS reported.
According to the report, Pakistani mediators will attend the talks in Islamabad.
The schedule of Vance's regional tour could be altered to include Islamabad. The US Vice President is currently in Hungary.
Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited US and Iranian delegations to Islamabad on April 10 for further negotiations as part of the ceasefire confirmed by both sides last night.
