Clinton vs. Trump: More than 46 million Americans have already voted, Clinton leads

US presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, spoke at rallies until the last moment, explaining to the gathered masses why they should vote for them, world media report, writes Patria.

The Democratic candidate called on Americans to vote for an "inclusive America with a big heart, full of hope," while the Republican representative Trump told his supporters that they have "a chance to defeat a corrupt system" before them.

US President Barack Obama also addressed the nation, attending Hillary Clinton's last rally after an 18-month fierce campaign. The rally was symbolically held in Independence Hall in Philadelphia, where the Declaration of Independence was signed.

- Please vote for this woman, this mother, to be the next president of the United States, said Obama, the first African-American president of the US, calling on citizens to vote for the potential first female president in the 240-year American history.

Clinton's lead of 4 votes over her Republican rival was recorded.

This was contributed by Latino voters who appeared at polling stations in record numbers – around 46 million, likely to vote for Hillary.

- Today, the American working class will finally strike a blow, Trump said in one of his last addresses, promising new jobs.

Hillary Clinton told her audience that they "do not have to accept a dark and divided vision of America."

Somewhat earlier, Clinton said in a radio interview that if she wins, she would invite Trump to take on a "constructive role" and help unite the country.
