SARAJEVO, (Patria) - European Union (EU) member states are considering filing a lawsuit against "AstraZeneca" for breach of contract regarding the supply of coronavirus vaccines, if the company fails to meet deadlines.
Each EU member state has a separate vaccine supply contract with this company.
"AstraZeneca", which developed the vaccine in cooperation with the University of Oxford, has informed the EU that it cannot meet the set targets for the supply of coronavirus vaccines by the end of March.
"Pfizer" will also deliver fewer doses to the EU, which is why Brussels has warned that vaccine distribution rules will be tightened, BHRT reports.
