Members of BiH PA delegation safe in BiH Embassy building in Brussels

Regarding information about the stay of three members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, where a series of terrorist attacks with tragic consequences occurred this morning, the Public Relations Sector of the BiH PA announces the following information:

- Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) Hanka Vajzović and two officials of the Secretariat of the BiH PA Jadranka Radović and Dubravka Išuk – Pavlović, who yesterday in Brussels attended the meeting of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Southeast European Cooperation Process and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament, are in a safe location, in the building of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels.

At the time of the series of terrorist attacks in the capital of Belgium, the members of the BiH PA Delegation were in a car on their way to Brussels Airport. After being informed about the explosions at Brussels Airport, the members of our delegation returned to the building of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they received the necessary support from Ambassador Draško Aćimović and the Embassy staff.

The Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is in constant contact with the members of our Delegation and, in cooperation with the BiH Embassy in Brussels, will organize their safe return to the country as soon as circumstances permit - stated the BiH PA.
