Cipiripi diplomacy in the oasis of budget bushes: For God's sake, don't defend us anymore!

How statements and media appearances have replaced the systematic defense of the state from its external and internal enemies. Why Bosnia and Herzegovina, a state that has produced numerous brilliant minds scattered around the world, has been reduced to being defended by superficial politicians, characters from a political comic strip.

Analysis, preparation and planning, implementation of plans, and readiness for prevention have long been foreign concepts in the government institutions that should be concerned with every inch of the state, state property, and every possibility of an attack on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And this is not so strange, considering that our three-decade-long green storm has cleared out all the brains that knew how to manage, discern, decide, and lead the state. Because of this green government, we have reached a point where our head of diplomacy is a superficial diplomat, who is only a good source of all sorts of jokes circulating in cities and on social networks.

Things are no better in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where two, as Professor Esad Bajtal calls them, pseudo-pro-Bosnian factions have absolutely no methodology for preventive action or readiness to defend against sophisticated, specially crafted attacks on BiH.

We asked Professor Bajtal to diagnose such a way of conducting politics and the state, and he says: "We see it, but we can't expect anything else from them. People who don't do their job can only react, and not always adequately, as we saw in the last month, when we saw that sentence about war, and when they easily fell for the provocation about stupidity and peaceful separation. Then someone, out of ignorance, incompetence, or for the sake of political winking to the other side, gives them what they have been seeking for 15 years, that stupid sentence about war. And then, those who have been talking about war for 15 years, because the story about a referendum and separation is a war story, and then when frustration reaches its peak, you utter the stupidest possible sentence – and now the one with the war story presents himself as a peacemaker."

And exactly so, the too frequent and too dangerous post-event actions of false defenders of the state have led us to a situation where everyone who is aware of Bosnia and Herzegovina as our only homeland begins to doubt that homeland and its leaders.

Besides political ignorance and lack of education, one of the biggest flaws of our quasi-politicians is the employment of friends, godfathers, mistresses, and relatives in advisory positions. And while political lions gather around us, advised by sharks of exceptional analytical power, every subsequent reaction of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian government seems senseless and insane.

Therefore, Professor Bajtal has a message for those who declare themselves pro-Bosnian: "Since they don't know how to be proactive, it's better that they don't react. Because that's the problem of the stupidity of this pseudo-pro-Bosnian side. It is true that two sides are attacking Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the third side is falsely defending it, and that is best shown by the deception surrounding the revision of the verdict against Serbia. Let them stop deceiving us, this nation is not stupid, but patient, generous, and unnecessarily tolerant. They should be answered as they are answered everywhere in the democratic world, by civil rebellion, revolt, protests. Because that is democratic, human, and natural, and ultimately it is a constitutional right, even the constitutional right of the citizens of this country."

The drought on the pro-Bosnian political stage has lasted too long. Elections and years pass, we stare blankly and count. We count theft, crime, political untalents, superficial democracy, backroom deals, employment in secluded, mosque-based circles.

Meanwhile, the chosen representatives of the deluded people, like children in the sand, play with politics, and worst of all, with the state.

New elections are approaching, in a year or so, and the clamor will only get louder. From the desperate ones who want to attach themselves to state coffers, we will not see those who deserve to lead the country. Those who know how to read political, diplomatic, and other messages.

Therefore, we don't have much room for maneuver, because if we continue on the same path, one of the next reactions will be departure, permanently into the unknown. And they, the subjects that they are, will enjoy what they have never and should never have.
