Adele concert ticket prices reach up to 2,283 KM

(Patria) - A large number of tickets remained unsold for singer Adele's performances in Munich due to dizzyingly high prices, reports Jutarnji list.

As many as 260,000 fans waited for hours in line for the cheapest and best seats, and the Daily Mail revealed that there are still 2,000 unsold seats.

Adele announced 10 performances in August this year in Germany, which is the first time she will perform in this part of Europe since 2015.

Fans reacted with enthusiasm to her announcement, only to be disappointed when they saw how much that enthusiasm cost them.

The cheapest available tickets were £281 (around 641 KM), while the most expensive reached a dizzying £1,000 (around 2,283 KM) and more.

"If seats aren't sold, promoters might consider lowering prices. Hotel prices are dizzying. It's a mess," said a source.

Adele, who currently performs weekly as part of her Las Vegas residency, will take the German stage on August 2, 3, 9, 10, 14, 16, 23, 24, 30, and 31, 2024.

The singer will perform in an open-air setting prepared for special performances.

The arena will feature a combination of seating stands and standing areas with a capacity of 80,000 people per night.

The star confirmed a few weeks ago that she plans to go on a world tour after the release of her next album, but added that it won't be anytime soon.

Her last album was "30", released in 2021. The album achieved huge commercial and critical success, won the award for British Album of the Year at the Brit Awards 2022, and became the best-selling album of the year.
