Crude oil prices down 60%, while liquid fuel prices at BiH pumps have only decreased by 5 percent

(Patria) - The Center for Human Policy has sent questions to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the presidents of the entity governments, regarding the prices of oil and oil derivatives.

"Why are you tolerating the oligopolistic market of oil derivatives and the profiteering agreements of oil derivative traders in BiH and doing nothing to regulate this market, prevent profiteering, and adjust the prices of oil derivatives to the prices of crude oil on the world market, given that in the past three months, crude oil prices have fallen by 60%, while the prices of liquid fuels at pumps in BiH have only decreased by 5%?", stated the Center for Policy.

Why are oil derivatives sold at pumps in BiH of unequal and poorer quality than oil derivatives sold in Germany, and what will you do to improve the quality of oil derivatives at our pumps and align them with those sold in the European Union?

"When will you become fully independent and accountable to citizens when determining the amount and share of excise taxes and other levies on oil derivatives, cigarettes, and other products in the total price, given that you have so far obediently determined and increased these levies at the dictate of the IMF and the EU?", stated this Center.
