Price and quantity of direct gas supply from Russia to RS are business secret

The contract on direct gas supply from Russia to Republika Srpska (RS) was signed in St. Petersburg by representatives of Russian "Gazprom Export" and the RS company "Gas-Res". However, the director of the RS company "Gas-Res", Slobodan Puhalac, did not specify the quantities of natural gas involved or the price.

- The contract was signed for assumed quantities that are in the RS plan for gasification this year and next. At this moment, I would not talk about quantities or prices. That remains in the domain of business secret - Puhalac stated in a telephone statement for Radio RS.

He states that these quantities of gas are "quite sufficient for the start", for industrial producers in RS and for those distribution networks that are operational or will become operational.

– We are counting, above all, on Bijeljina - Puhalac added. The price is also a business secret, and he did not want to talk about it either, claiming that it is "certainly" more favorable than the one any of "our consumers" have had so far through intermediaries. Puhalac also claims that this contract opens the process of gasification, and for those who are already gas consumers, it ensures a secure supply and a "decent price".
