After being on the run for two years, British police have caught another of the thieves from the group that earned the nickname “Charlie’s Angels”. Saida Isović (24) is one of three girls who stole 2,000 pounds from a person’s bag, which had just been withdrawn from the bank, reports the Patria news agency.
Surveillance cameras captured the three girls, originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, changing clothes to conceal themselves and thus deceive the victim into thinking they were not being followed. The footage caught the girls entering a shop wearing colorful scarves and long dresses. They soon discarded those clothes and put on coats and tied up their long hair. Two of the girls put on new scarves before starting the operation, reports the Daily Mail.
Last week, Saida Isović was sentenced to community service for a similar theft she committed in London.
Shortly after appearing in court, authorities discovered that there was also an outstanding warrant against her for a theft committed in Derby more than two years ago. When taken to court in Derby, Isović pleaded guilty to the previous thefts and was sentenced to 9 months in prison.
The other member, Ivana Ramić (23), was brought to court last year for a robbery from 2013 and received 11 months in prison. The third member is still on the run. The group was named “Charlie’s Angels” after the famous series about three sexy private detectives who were masters of disguise.
