Fourth attack on Bosniaks, and police in Zvornik form a team to monitor Wahhabis

The club of councilors of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of the Zvornik Municipal Assembly condemned the attacks on religious facilities in Zvornik, it was announced from this club, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Hooligans desecrated the turbe of Hasan Kaimija in Kula Grad in Zvornik over the weekend. On the walls of the turbe, hooligans wrote the words „balije“, which is an offensive term for Bosniaks. They also left other messages telling Bosniaks that they are not wanted in Zvornik.

Two weeks earlier, hooligans wrote offensive messages on the city mosque Begsuja in Zvornik, which also disturbed Bosniaks.

Earlier, returnee Ahmed Hasanović was killed in Kozluk near Zvornik, and somewhat earlier, Nezir Dardagan was attacked in the city while heading to Eid prayer, writes NAP.

- Instead of forming a body that would prevent such events, and another murder, the police station in Zvornik formed a department that is supposed to monitor potential terrorists, but exclusively of the Islamic faith, more precisely Wahhabis – it is further stated in the announcement of the SDA councilors club in Zvornik.

- For attacks motivated by religious and national hatred, there is no response other than demagoguery and diverting attention from the obvious problem that has the potential to cause enormous problems that will be difficult to stop later.

Bosniaks call on judicial authorities and the police to find the perpetrators as soon as possible and adequately punish them in order to stop this obviously orchestrated group of hooligans in a timely manner and prevent events from the previous period, reports NAP.
