Four arrested for drug possession, including two drivers

Members of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton arrested four people yesterday, including a minor, for possession and enabling the use of narcotic drugs, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

During a check of a passenger motor vehicle VW Golf in Hamze Hume Street, two packets containing a substance resembling the narcotic drug speed and one packet containing a leafy substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana were found and seized from the driver H.T., born in 1984 in Sarajevo.

H.T. was deprived of his liberty and handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.

Shortly before midnight, in Stupska Street, Ilidža municipality, police officers of the IV Police Station stopped and checked a passenger motor vehicle of the make “Opel-Astra”, driven by K.M., born in 1985 in Priboj, residing in Sarajevo. During a search, one packet containing a leafy substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana was found and seized from him, after which he was arrested.

During the day, police officers of the I Police Station in Antuna Hangija Street arrested K.E., born in 1996 in Sarajevo, and minor K.E.Dž., born in 1999 in Sarajevo, from whom hand-rolled cigarettes containing a leafy substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana were found and seized during a search.
