Members and sympathizers of the Ravna Gora movement will today mark the 70th anniversary of the arrest of the notorious Chetnik leader Dragoljub Draža Mihailović in Dobrunska Rijeka near Višegrad.
- March 13 is important for our history, for our idea, for our path we must follow. Let us not forget the misdeeds of those who renounced both God and their Serbian people, their glory, ancestors, history and customs. Come and, with our unity and brotherly and sisterly love, pay tribute to General Draža and his followers - states a message posted on the Facebook page of the Ravna Gora movement.
The Chetniks will thus once again organize shameful orgies in a city where nearly 3,000 Bosniaks, including 128 children, were killed during the past war, and more than 70 Bosniaks - women, children and the elderly - were burned alive.
Bakira Hasečić, president of the Association „Woman – Victim of War“, in a statement for the Patria agency, called on the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Mektić, not to allow the rehabilitation of ideologies such as Chetnikism in BiH.
- Historical facts show that these ideologies were the cause of mass suffering of all Balkan peoples, especially Bosniaks. We demand from the competent authorities in BiH the urgent adoption of a law banning gatherings and activities based on these ideologies, as well as a ban on the use of their symbols – says Hasečić.
See what last year's gathering looked like, when returnees were in fear and the authorities failed to react
