Centrotrans: Road closures at Marijin Dvor cause blockades and delays for our buses

(Patria) - Since the beginning of the tram line reconstruction, Centrotrans, with its own buses, under extremely difficult conditions, is doing everything to provide adequate transport for the citizens of Sarajevo, enabling them to reach their destinations on time - school, faculty, company, institution, hospital…

"Until now, we have managed to fulfill our obligations in a quality manner, with occasional short traffic delays. Unfortunately, in the last few days, due to the collapse of building debris at Marijin Dvor and the closure of the traffic lane intended for public transport vehicles, we have been recording huge traffic jams along the route from the Museum to Skenderija during the day, and during rush hour, there is a complete blockade of movement for our buses. Due to all of the above, not through our fault, there are disruptions in maintaining the timetable, which causes nervousness and dissatisfaction among passengers.

Considering the importance of public transport for all activities of the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, we appeal to the competent authorities to take urgent measures to enable the smooth flow of passenger transport. We ask our valued passengers for understanding and assure them that we are doing everything in our power to provide adequate service," stated Centrotrans.
