Red Cross Central Kitchen to Receive Qurban Meat

(Patria) - The Red Cross of Sarajevo Canton is again organizing the reception of Qurban meat for the Central Kitchen, which prepares 1,072 meals daily for the citizens of Sarajevo Canton in July and distributes them to 19 locations in the Sarajevo Canton area.

During Bayram, Qurbans can be delivered to the Central Kitchen at Braće Begić Street no. 11 (Koševsko brdo), at the following times:

• First day - 31.07.2020. (Friday) - from 10:00 to 18:00

• Second day - 01.08.2020. (Saturday) - from 10:00 to 18:00

We kindly ask citizens to pay attention to the health status of animals when purchasing and performing religious slaughter of animals before Kurban Bayram.

We particularly emphasize that only Qurban meat with a document of veterinary inspection will be accepted in our Central Kitchen.

The collected Qurban meat will be used to prepare meals for the users of our kitchen.
