Central Bank of BiH presents new logo

(Patria) - The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will start using a new logo from January 1, 2022, which will be used in all forms of communication and public presentation of the institution.

The new logo was chosen after a tender procedure and will replace the current logo, which originates from the header of the memorandum adopted by the CBBH back in 2000.

The process of creating the new CBBH logo solution was prompted by the need to improve and modernize the institution's visual identity, and they also explained what the elements of the new logo represent.

"The symbolic part of the logo represents a hexagonal shape. The hexagon is a shape that symbolizes harmony and balance, and one of the most perfect natural forms, honeycomb, is based on it. The interior of the hexagonal symbol is designed with a series of lines of different values that create an active and dynamic play of internal space. The scores created in this way, in their mutual relationship, form a characteristic triangle that has come to life as a defining symbol of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina," they stated.

They add that "the symbol, with its fragmented structure, evokes the form of a nest. The nest as a symbol, internationally, suggests complexity, sophistication, dedication, knowledge, the atmosphere of home, protection, security," and that all these attributes reflect the Bank's vision and mission as the central financial institution of the state.

The symbol is defined by a complex structure of elements that reflect the complexity of this institution's operations, and their emphasized vertical arrangement suggests growth and prosperity.
