Čedomir Jovanović: Dodik is a ricochet, he is in Putin's orbit because he has fallen out with everyone else

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Čedomir Jovanović, guest on the show Face to Face, spoke about the dangers of discussing the Kosovo resolution, the idea of a civic Bosnia and Herzegovina that must exist, adding that our country has been deprived of rights, but that there are many people from RS for whom business and success outside of Sarajevo are unimaginable.

Jovanović recounted that at a working meeting a few years ago, he told Vladimir Putin that he wanted Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in NATO, because, as he says, that is the only guarantee of lasting peace. He concluded with the opinion that he sees a chance in Aleksandar Vučić and that Dodik has "mutated" because Serbia has changed its attitude towards him.

I am an advisor to Komšić because of Bosnia, Serbia, and myself

"I have understanding and support, which is mutual with Željko Komšić. I really wanted him to win the elections. We depend terribly on each other. We cannot count on a normal life in Serbia if Bosnia and Herzegovina is struggling," Jovanović stated, commenting on the position of advisor to the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić. 

He added that a point has been put on Kosovo issues. Jovanović does not want the problem, which has been objectively resolved, to deepen the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He also said that our country is a puzzle, and that he is an advisor to Komšić out of concern for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. 

"I don't like to interfere in other people's lives. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, my views that are valued are not political," he added.

Bosnia is disappearing, it doesn't exist for Russia

"Serbia will have to help Bosniaks, so that Bosniaks understand that they have their own state and that in that state they are responsible for how Serbs and Croats live. When I say that Bosniaks should build a state, I don't mean a Muslim Bosnia," Jovanović conveyed. 

He added that the idea of a civic Bosnia and Herzegovina must exist and that our country has been deprived of rights, but that there are many people from RS for whom business and success outside of Sarajevo are unimaginable.

"I lost Montenegro, Macedonia is a post, I will never give up Serbia," Jovanović relayed Putin's words, adding that "according to Putin" Bosnia and Herzegovina does not exist.

Jovanović to Putin: We want BiH in NATO

"Serbia like this will not join NATO. The need for everyone, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, is to join NATO. Dodik was for NATO," stated Jovanović, concluding that Dodik has changed his mind, but that it is very possible that someone will replace Dodik. 

He said that Dodik cannot obstruct entry into NATO.

"Dodik does not approve of Bosnia and Herzegovina's entry into NATO because he is not his own and because the Russians do not allow it," said Jovanović.

Dodik is a ricochet, I worked on his campaign

"Vučić can't say anything to Dodik, since Dodik is a ricochet. Dodik is in Putin's orbit because he has fallen out with everyone else. LDP Serbia worked on Dodik's campaign in 2006. Dodik has mutated because Serbia has changed," concluded Jovanović.
