Haris Čaušević, accused of the terrorist attack on the Bugojno Police Station on June 27, 2010, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison. The verdict was delivered by the Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria News Agency.
Čaušević was initially sentenced to 45 years in prison in the first-instance verdict in December 2013, which has now been reduced to 35 years.
Presiding Judge Tihomir Lukes stated that the Prosecution provided sufficient evidence that Čaušević committed the criminal offense he was charged with, and that the Panel determined he committed this terrorist act intentionally.
No appeal is allowed against this verdict.
