(Patria) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced an additional $2.5 billion in economic aid for Ukraine on Saturday, Reuters reported.
This will help Ukraine unlock funding from the International Monetary Fund, Carney said during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Ukrainian president stopped in Canada on his way to the United States, where he will meet with President Donald Trump today to discuss a peace agreement that his envoys are negotiating with the Russian side.
