Čampara as Kim Jong: Only in militant societies does a police minister launch and edit media!

It has been known for some time that there is very little democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that work must be done on the democratic nature of society, but unfortunately, the situation on the ground is completely different, writes the Patria news agency.

Non-governmental organisations have been warning for years that our country needs independent media that will present the public with a clear picture of what is (not) being done in the state. However, in recent months, a precedent has been set in BiH, one that we only see in militant and undemocratic societies.

It is an open secret that the Party of Democratic Action has launched its own media outlet, which is under the direct control of the Minister of Interior, Aljoša Čampara. The police minister selects journalists, columnists, and the editorial policy of the portal Faktor, the weekly newspaper Stav, and soon they are launching a daily newspaper, for which Čampara is already selecting journalists, even publicly screening those he likes at gatherings and offering them a salary at Faktor.

- Čampara is not only selecting journalists but also columnists, and without any hesitation, he has invited a number of academics in BiH, offering them a higher salary than they have in other media to express their views – says our source.

In other normal societies, it would be unthinkable for a police minister to edit a media outlet, and as we learn, the director of the Federal Police Administration, Dragan Lukač, has also become involved in finding those who could meet the tasks of Čampara and the SDA.

- Just imagine what kind of information will be disseminated in these media, given that Aljoša Čampara's brother works in the Prosecutor's Office. Regime media are not needed in BiH, especially those controlled by the police – emphasised our source.

However, it is now clear that Čampara and Lukač have obviously neglected their roles and their primary job of removing criminals from the streets who terrorise citizens and eat away at our society.

Also, our sources reveal that Aljoša boasted that he “understands portals because he constantly follows them,” and that he is fully ready to tackle the editing and selection of journalists who will work on the portal and in the newspaper.

That the SDA is heavily involved in these media is evidenced by the photograph we publish, which shows several hundred copies of the newspaper Stav. Namely, by “official” duty, companies and businessmen are obliged to purchase the entire print run of the newspaper, and the SDA Headquarters serves as a kind of warehouse from which the newspaper is distributed.

Because of his role in editing the media, as well as his way of conducting politics, Čampara has been called the Sarajevo Kim Jong. We remind that Kim Jong Un is the de facto leader of North Korea, the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, and the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Thus, in BiH, Čampara is the police minister, the main advisor to his party leader Bakir Izetbegović, the “superior” to the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, all at a time when BiH is financially hitting rock bottom.
