Turbulent Weekend: Border Police Arrested Seven People

Members of the BiH Border Police arrested seven people over the weekend while crossing the state border, for whom competent authorities had issued arrest warrants, reports the Patria News Agency.  

Police officers of the Zvornik Border Police Unit on 5 April 2015 at the Bratunac Border Crossing arrested two BiH citizens: O. Đ. (1974) because border checks revealed he was wanted by the Municipal Court of Živinice for the criminal offense of "abuse of authority in business" and S. M. (1980) because the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska had issued an arrest warrant for him for the criminal offense of "causing general danger".

The day before, on 4 April 2015, at the same border crossing, S. A. (1988) was arrested because the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska had issued an arrest warrant for him for the criminal offense of "embezzlement". Police officers of the Izačić Border Police Unit on 4 April 2015 at the Izačić Border Crossing arrested a citizen of Slovenia, F. S. (1980) after border checks established that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton had issued an arrest warrant for him for the criminal offense of "endangering security" and H. A. (1985) was arrested based on a warrant from the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs for the criminal offense of "theft". 

Police officers of the Kamensko Border Police Unit on 5 April 2015 at the Kamensko Border Crossing arrested a citizen of Croatia, B. M. (1979), after border checks revealed he was wanted by the Municipal Court of Livno for the criminal offense of "grand theft".   

At Sarajevo International Airport, officers of the Sarajevo Airport Border Police Unit, on a flight from Belgrade during passport control, arrested a citizen of Serbia, K. J. (1995) because he was wanted by the Municipal Court of Sarajevo for the criminal offense of "participating in a fight", it was announced by the BiH Border Police.
