Bukvarević: Pensions and veteran benefits are a priority for payment from the FBiH Budget

(Patria) - The Federal Minister for Veterans' Affairs and Disabled Veterans of the Defense-Liberation War, Salko Bukvarević, emphasized that pensions and veteran benefits are a priority for payment from the FBiH Budget for the relevant ministry and the FBiH Government. 

“We held a meeting with the Coordination of Veteran Organizations of the Army of RBiH, and they expressed satisfaction because there will be no reduction in income and benefits,” said Bukvarević.

He stated that this ministry has submitted a proposal to the FBiH Government to direct 20 million KM from this Ministry to the fund for the fight against COVID-19, but the benefits will not be reduced.

“The Coordination of Veteran Organizations and the Ministry are clearly committed to jointly marking all significant dates, respecting all introduced security measures,” emphasized Bukvarević.

He invited all beneficiaries, numbering 35,600 aged over 65, to collect their benefits by Friday.

The General Director of the Public Enterprise BH Gas, Jasmin Salkić, stated that the gas supply is regular and all obligations have been paid.

“Everything is regular, I am saying this specifically, considering that a record amount of gas was used in April. A proposal to reduce the price of gas for industry will be submitted soon,” said Salkić.
