ZHK Budget Users Collected Over 5 Million KM Through Lawsuits

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - 703,995.64 convertible marks in court enforcement were paid from the budget of West Herzegovina Canton today. This is the second payment of this kind in less than half a year, bringing the total amount paid to the bank accounts of budget users in the mentioned period to 1,236,198.76 convertible marks.

The largest portion of the paid funds was transferred to the accounts of education workers, while the remainder pertains to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of West Herzegovina Canton.

These obligations relate to lawsuits filed by budget users from previous years. By intensifying payments, the Government of West Herzegovina Canton has once again confirmed its stance that settling court enforcement is among its high priorities, a point often emphasized by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of West Herzegovina Canton, Toni Kraljević.

What no one is talking about is the government's responsibility for creating unnecessary costs by not respecting the laws.

In the last three and a half years, two of which were marked by the coronavirus pandemic, West Herzegovina Canton has managed to settle as much as 5,049,169.29 convertible marks in obligations arising from court judgments.
