Ahead of tomorrow's session of the TK Assembly, the cantonal government has rescinded decisions on emergency circumstances. This respects the stance of the OHR, but if the words of the representative of Our Party Selim Bešlagić are to be believed, the new majority will continue to insist on the dismissal of the TK Government.
- We have requested the dismissal of the responsible individuals who are responsible for the blockade. If this happens, there will be no problem in accepting the budget, the budget execution law, the interim report of the Health Insurance Fund, and the Employment Service. However, if there is still bartering behavior, which is a term that perfectly suits the Tuzla Canton, we believe that our vote will make it clear that such a dictate and dictation cannot pass, stated Bešlagić.
Although he admits that the new majority made certain procedural errors in convening the session at which the decision to dismiss the TK Government was made, Bešlagić believes that the will of the majority should be respected. According to his interpretation of the letter from the OHR, there is no reason to protect a vital national interest, as a representative of one nation is being replaced by a representative of the same nation. The TK Government previously stated for Patria that reason should prevail and the necessary financial decisions should be adopted. The Prime Minister of the TK Government, Denijal Tulumović, expressed his conviction at the time that the TK Government would be able to function even without the support of the majority in the Assembly.
