Budget for 2016: 10 million KM for Dodik's Office and Advisors

SDS MP in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Marinko Božović today criticized the budget allocations planned for 2016 of about 10 million KM for the Office of the President of RS, as well as the number of advisors Milorad Dodik has, reports the Patria News Agency.

 

Considering the number of people advising its president, as he added, Republika Srpska does not particularly stand out in the region in terms of results.

During the debate in the National Assembly on the proposed budget for the next year, NDP MP Dragan Čavić stated that the treasury of Republika Srpska will be financed by loans for as many as 77 days next year.

He also pointed out that the growth of the budget is far greater than that of GDP in Republika Srpska, and warned that a cumulative budget structure, synthetic sums of individual items, was not provided, accusing the Ministry of Finance of Republika Srpska of concealing data.

SNSD MP Bojan Vidić believes that a different method should be established for financing certain court costs in Srpska.

Branislav Borenović, on behalf of PDP, stated that the original budget revenues of Republika Srpska are stagnating due to the lack of economic activity, while prices have risen in the past four years.

He pointed to the excessive debt of RS, emphasizing that 44 percent of the original revenues from this year, or almost every second mark that citizens of Republika Srpska pay into the budget, will go towards loan repayment in 2016, reported BNTV.
