FBiH Budget Proposed by Government of SDA, HDZ, SBB and NiP, Claims about Novalić's Activities Untrue

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The claims made public today by some political parties regarding the actions of the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, during the adoption of the historically record-breaking Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2022 are untrue, according to a press release from the FBiH Government.

"The public should know that this is not Fadil Novalić's Budget, but the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was unanimously adopted at a session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and sent to the parliamentary procedure as such. We remind that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of ministers from the ranks of SDA, HDZ, SBB and NiP. The responsibility of the Prime Minister and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ended with the Prime Minister's presentation of the Budget to the deputies of the House of Representatives and the delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who had the decision whether, when and in what form to adopt the Budget," it is stated.

They also remind that the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina clearly stipulates that the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall dissolve both houses of the Parliament of the FBiH when they fail to adopt the budget before the beginning of the budget year, which is today.

"We take this opportunity to thank, on behalf of pensioners, the veteran population, military and civilian invalids, and all other beneficiaries of the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, those who responsibly performed their duty as deputies and delegates and voted for the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Those policies whose goal was obviously to create chaos and anarchy with unforeseeable consequences have nothing left but to continue spreading untruths with which they try to confuse and deceive the public. For all publicly stated serious accusations based on untruth, responsibility will be sought through legal channels," say the FBiH Government.
