SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After considering a plea agreement, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo found Amar Hodžić, known as Buba Corelli, and Almir Bozalija guilty of the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs. Hodžić and Bozalija were each sentenced to one year in prison.
They are charged with having, from December 2014 to June 2015, as members of an organized group, procured and sold the narcotic drugs "hashish", "amphetamine", and "cannabis" in the area of Sarajevo Canton. The accused stored the drugs in apartments, business premises, houses, and cars, after which they repackaged them into smaller packets for street sale.
Amar Hodžić was in custody from June 2015 to February 2016, while Almir Bozalija was in custody from June 2015 to January 2016. Both will have the time spent in custody credited towards their imposed prison sentences.
