Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH yesterday began rapid inspections across the wider FBiH area, conducting 217 by 8 PM.
As announced, the inspections covered taxpayers engaged in gambling, trade, and hospitality activities...
The goal of the inspections was to verify compliance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the employment of undeclared workers.
In these inspections, Tax Administration inspectors discovered 71 undeclared workers, 64 taxpayers who did not issue fiscal receipts, 10 taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device, and 15 business premises operating without a work permit.
Due to the established irregularities: employment of undeclared workers, failure to record turnover through a fiscal device, absence of a fiscalized fiscal device, and operating without a permit, 32 business premises were sealed, and in 163 inspections, misdemeanor orders were issued with total fines amounting to 325,261.00 KM.
The Tax Administration will continue inspection activities to control the legality of taxpayers' operations and prevent the grey economy in the future and calls upon taxpayers with identified irregularities to align their operations and respect the laws to avoid sanctions and unnecessary costs.
