OLOVO, (Paria) - Olovo was blocked for almost two hours today due to clashes between fan groups of football clubs Sarajevo and Željezničar around 3 PM. The police of the Zenica-Doboj Canton had to seek assistance from other colleagues, and dozens of hooligans were subdued using zip ties. The police were searching for those who fled.
Although the general chaos lasted for more than an hour, and stones were thrown between the two groups, greater damage was avoided. Several broken windows, as well as damage to a parked bus whose window was broken and a burning flare was thrown inside.
Several parked vehicles were also damaged. Fans of both clubs left Olovo under police escort, and criminal charges will be filed against them. The number of injured fans is unknown, but traces of blood are visible on the streets.
Residents of Olovo are disturbed by today's events, which fortunately ended without human casualties.
