Ilidža-Blažuj express road was closed to traffic due to accidents and black ice

This morning, there were several accidents on the roads in Sarajevo in which no one was seriously injured, while two people sustained minor bodily injuries, said the duty officer from the MUP of Sarajevo Canton for the Patria news agency.

The Ilidža-Blažuj express road was completely closed to traffic from both directions, and traffic was redirected through Ilidža.

- There were several accidents on it, there was black ice, and that is why it was closed - said the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.

Two cars ended up off the road in the Hrasnica settlement.

From BIHAMK, they advise drivers to be careful when driving on black ice, especially on sections in higher mountainous areas, as well as on bridges and tunnel approaches.
