After the news of the death of Bosnian singer-songwriter Kemal Monteno echoed through the region, reactions from friends, acquaintances, and colleagues from the entertainment scene continue, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Several photos of this singer with Monteno were posted on Zdravko Čolić's official Facebook page with a message.
- Great singer and author Kemal Monteno left this world this morning at 11 AM! Above all, a great man, musician, Zdravko's friend and collaborator has passed away. Čola always highlighted him as his great friend (Kemica affectionately), and he wrote great hits for him such as "Sinoć nisi bila tu", "Gori Vatra"... Our sincere condolences to the family on behalf of the Zdravko Čolić Fan Club!
Dino Merlin wrote on his official Facebook page that he was completely taken aback and shaken by the news of Kemal Monteno's passing.
- Kemo was one of the heroes of my youth, a great singer-songwriter... The entire music scene and pop culture has lost a great Kemo.
