(Patria) - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of fatalities in Israeli attacks on the country has risen to 72, with at least 437 people injured, writes Al Jazeera.
Cross-border fighting between Israel and Lebanon broke out after the Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah launched rockets towards northern Israel following the US-Israeli attack on Tehran.
The Israeli army responded by continuing airstrikes on the south of the country and the southern suburbs of Beirut, issuing orders for forced evacuation and occupying new military positions on Lebanese territory.
