Death toll rises, at least 28 people killed in Ankara after car bomb explosion

Latest information indicates that at least 28 people were killed tonight in the Turkish capital after an unknown attacker detonated explosives placed in a car. The correspondent of the BiH news agency Patria from Ankara, who was about a hundred meters from the explosion, reports that a part of the city near the Parliament building, where the explosion occurred, is currently blocked.

Dozens of people were injured.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is clear that it is a terrorist act, Turkish media write. The car exploded when there were the most cars on the streets in Ankara, at a time when people were returning home from work.

Many events have been cancelled in the Turkish capital, and the number of police officers on the streets has increased...

Patria's correspondent reports that Kosovo planned to organize a reception for all diplomats in Turkey tonight. The reception was not cancelled, but everything is happening in silence, without music. (aa)
