(Patria) - Eleven people were killed and dozens injured in a Russian attack on a specialised shopping centre for construction products in Kharkiv, local officials said, after the mayor earlier yesterday announced that at least four people had been killed.
President Volodymyr Zelensky made an urgent appeal to Ukraine's Western allies to help strengthen its air defence to keep cities safe, HINA reports.
Eleven people were killed after two guided bombs hit a store in a residential area of the city, regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said on national television. At least two of the dead were store employees. Forty people were injured in the attack.
