British police arrested 6 people in raids

British police arrested six people in anti-terrorist raids carried out early this morning in central England and London, Reuters reports, Patria reports.

Four men were detained in Derby, another in Burton upon Trent, while a woman was arrested in London on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act.

The regional counter-terrorism unit officially addressed the local population, calling for cooperation and support.

Searches of six residences are underway as part of the investigation, while five men aged 22, 25, 26, and two aged 27, and a 32-year-old woman are in custody.
