The European Aviation Safety Agency warned Germany about controversial issues concerning safety even before the crash of the Germanwings plane in which 150 people died, particularly in the area of monitoring the health status of the crew, reports the Patria News Agency.
EASA spokesperson Dominik Fuda emphasized that the agency "pointed to several controversial cases".
"Based on EASA's recommendations, the European Commission initiated a process called Germany's responsibility at the end of last year," says Fuda.
Fuda stressed that the European Commission, in accordance with the EASA report, asked Germany to align its regulations with the relevant rules.
"Germany's response is currently underway, and it is part of a permanent monitoring system," says Fuda.
