Brussels informed about the situation in BiH, ERCC made its technical capacities available

(Patria) - The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina is monitoring the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina caused by heavy rainfall. Through the Operational-Communication Centre 112, the Ministry is in constant communication with the competent protection and rescue services in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

International organizations in BiH and the European Commission's Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) in Brussels have also been informed about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and constant communication has been established in case international assistance needs to be requested.

The ERCC has made its technical capacities available, primarily by providing updated data on rainfall in the coming days, as well as satellite imagery of flooded and endangered areas.
