Brčko Wakes Up to Posters: Who Does the Budget of Brčko District Belong To?

Brčko woke up this morning covered in posters indirectly telling the authorities that they are destroying the city and driving citizens away, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

An informal group of citizens rented advertising billboards from the border crossing to Bulevar mira in Brčko, on which they told the authorities: "Who does the budget of Brčko District belong to? I am asking you!", "Listen, here the people of Brčko want to get employed!", "Who personally wrote harmful contracts on behalf of the District?"

Brčko was once considered one of the better parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina to live in, but the difficult economic situation has now also affected the people of Brčko. Non-governmental organizations warn that human rights in Brčko are being violated at every turn, and that the authorities only work for their own interests, writes NAP.
