Former member of the 10th Sabotage Detachment of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) Brane Gojković reached an agreement in Belgrade, pleading guilty to the murders of several hundred Srebrenica residents in July 1995, BIRN reports, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
After his guilty plea, the Higher Court in Belgrade sentenced Gojković to ten years in prison.
According to the agreement, Gojković was one of seven former members of the VRS 10th Sabotage Detachment who participated in the murders of several hundred Bosniak civilians at the Branjevo Military Farm on 16 July 1995.
Before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Franc Kos was sentenced to 35 years, Stanko Kojić to 32, Zoran Goronja to 30, and Vlastimir Golijan to 15 years in prison for this crime.
They were members of the 10th Sabotage Detachment, as were Marko Boškić and Dražen Erdemović, who, after pleading guilty, were sentenced to ten and five years in prison respectively.
Aleksandar Cvetković, also a former member of this detachment, was tried for his participation in the executions at Branjevo and was acquitted in the first-instance verdict.
