Bosniak Jokers, Arrests of Bosnian Patriots, and Apologies to Vučić

Every morning, a new culprit for the attack on Vučić appears in Belgrade media. They accuse the Black Swans unit, then a certain Asim M., ushers, then Naser Orić's son... The hysteria will continue. I cannot fathom this Bosniak side, which is again showing a completely casual attitude towards hysterical media and political propaganda.

The attack on Vučić is condemned in Sarajevo, and numerous apologies are sent to him from the Mayor of Srebrenica, victim associations, the Presidency of BiH, whose Bosniak member worried that he wasn't answering his mobile phone.

Those who represent this country must first and foremost demand an investigation by their own state bodies and agencies. If they are apologizing to Vučić, they must do so in their own name for poor organization and lack of security. Let them remain silent about any greater apologies and regrets, because no one knows anyone's role in this event.

Witnesses on Demand

The persecution and arrests of prominent Bosniaks at European airports and borders are forgotten again: Ganić, Divjak, Orić, Jurišić?

Dozens of young men were arrested following numerous false accusations from Serbia, among them the cases of four Srebrenica survivors who were caught after wandering in the forests for a year after the fall of Srebrenica. The treatment of these people showed the tragic insensitivity of those responsible in this country towards Bosniaks suffering from the media-intelligence propaganda of Banja Luka and Belgrade.

Samir Avdić was among the Srebrenica survivors, a camp inmate in the infamous Vuk Karadžić school in Bratunac, who would testify twice in The Hague, first as a protected witness, and the second time publicly in defense of Karadžić. During that process, the Tribunal proved that Avdić gave his testimony under duress from Karadžić's Hague legal advisor Petronijević.

It was proven that he is a person who was physically and mentally abused in the camps and prisons of Republika Srpska, and that he is even mentally retarded, according to diagnoses from Serbian doctors. Avdić's testimony completely disgraced Karadžić's defense, but despite everything, it was again included in a new Serbian indictment against Orić and sent to Switzerland.

Ibran Mustafić also appears as someone who constantly accuses Orić. It is not known to me whether Orić or any of his fighters filed a lawsuit for what Mustafić wrote in his book “Planned Chaos”. The book was published seven years ago and contains horrific accusations against Orić and the Bosniak political leadership. Mustafić even accuses the presidents of BiH and the USA, Alija Izetbegović and Bill Clinton, of planning the genocide in Srebrenica.

He further accuses Orić and his comrades of killing about a thousand Bosniaks. There is no accusation that does not deserve an investigation and denial, especially such monstrous claims. Everything that happens among Bosniaks becomes an argument for a third party and a reason for persecution and new tensions.

At one time, the chief prosecutor of the Tribunal, Carla del Ponte, prohibited Mustafić from testifying in the Orić case. The reason given was that Ibran Mustafić is an associate of the Serbian intelligence service BIA.

It was shocking that Vučić quoted these two false testimonies multiple times on camera. Unfortunately, no one from Bosnia and Herzegovina offered him a single word of denial, nor did the local political officials send him a protest and a request to stop his terrible and dangerous fabrications. They had to do it, as they swear that they sincerely want to build good relations between the two peoples.

One cannot rule a country with hindsight. Why didn't our politics resolve these ambiguities through dialogue, and our judiciary legally clear them up? The latest mass mockery of new media fabrications from Belgrade showed that we represent a very serious problem to ourselves as a people.

If the entire case is not resolved by a thorough investigation, inaction will only bring new problems in the form of Interpol warrants and new cases of national tension. It has never happened that the injured party reacts to the texts of numerous false accusations with a lawsuit or that the public prosecutor in BiH initiates an investigation. The Prosecutor's Office must react according to the law and official duty.

If a lie becomes the official version, it should be treated seriously. A lie has its long-term goals. In the Balkans, a lie is the strongest heavy weapon, the most dangerous time bomb. A lie kills and destroys human souls, plunges entire peoples into misfortune, and turns them against each other. This has been seen before.

Threats of False Witnesses

For trivial lies, Konjic resident Samir Honda was also tried for fabricated crimes and served eight months in prison, innocent, during the investigation and court proceedings in Serbia, and was then acquitted. The key person in this process was the false witness Zoran Đorđić.

He also tried to extort money across Bosnia and Herzegovina with untenable accusations against Bosniak fighters, falsely presenting himself as an SIPA investigator in several proceedings. I am not sure if Đorđić has become a persona non grata in this country, nor if anyone from the judiciary has issued an international arrest warrant for him for the serious criminal offense of false testimony.

This country, due to ignorance and its traditional insensitivity towards the people who defended it, only deals with the consequences, and only when public outcry forces it to.

Where there is room for doubt, there is also room for the evil of lies? Where lies reign, there is no room for a single grain of truth, nor for any human good. He who spreads lies spreads evil around him. Lies produce hatred most quickly and powerfully.

In the Balkans, one must fight against lies, just as against social misery, which after all this will make this land desolate.

People want an investigation into the disorder during the funeral in Potočari, because a sacred act was desecrated and a stain was cast on a sacred place for Bosniaks.

What kind of incompetent government have we raised that these horrors are happening to us like some disorganized tribe, and not a nation that wants Euro-Atlantic integration?
