Bosnić confuses young men from BiH fighting in Syria, distances himself from the jihad he promoted to them

The informal leader of Salafis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bilal Bosnić, stated today in the Court of BiH, where he is on trial for inciting joining the terrorist group ISIL, that he never called anyone to go to Syria to the battlefield, and that the video recordings of his lectures on the YouTube internet channel were not posted by him, but by someone else, and that he does not feel guilty for the deaths of several young men from BiH who died on foreign battlefields, writes the Patria news agency.

Such a statement by Bosnić could significantly reduce his popularity among the so-called Salafi community in BiH, given that Bosnić has shown inconsistency in his religious interpretations and is trying to distance himself from what he himself was promoting until a few months ago.  

The parents of the young men who went to the Syrian battlefields stated today in the Court of BiH that it is evident that their children changed their behavior after they started attending gatherings where Bosnić lectured on Islam.

Bosnić was arrested in the police operation "Damascus", and immediately declared to the judge that he was not guilty of the charges against him, writes Patria.
