Bosnalijek starts exporting Lysoderm® cream to the German market

After starting the export of Lysobact®-a to the German market at the beginning of this year, Bosnalijek recently contracted the first deliveries of Lysoderm® cream to the same market. General Director Nedim Uzunović points out that this is a particularly great success for Bosnalijek, considering the fact that cooperation with Germany was achieved during a pandemic that led to disruptions in all markets.

“Bosnalijek, despite the challenges it has faced, like the rest of the economy, since the beginning of the crisis caused by the new coronavirus, has managed to successfully organize its business in these circumstances. Thanks to this, we have managed to contract this extremely important deal for us. I expect that, as was the case with Lysobact®, Lysoderm® cream will gain the trust of customers in Germany very quickly. We are extremely proud of the great success of our lysozyme-based products, and the fact that we are achieving excellent results in all markets where we operate and patients always return for these products,” said Uzunović.

This export deal represents a continuation of Bosnalijek's business cooperation with the renowned German immunologist Dr. Hellmut Münch and his company Innova Vital GmbH, which will distribute Lysoderm® cream under the name Innovazym local® on the German market.

The action of Lysoderm® cream is based on lysozyme, the active substance in the cream, which is often called the body's antibiotic. Its discoverer, the famous Scottish Nobel laureate Alexander Fleming, often claimed that the discovery of lysozyme would one day arouse greater interest than the discovery of penicillin.

Lysozyme, with its action, helps in the treatment of various skin damage and diseases, minor injuries and burns that occur daily in households, and can also be used as an auxiliary therapy in the treatment of chronic wounds in patients with diabetes, or in people with varicose veins.
