SARAJevo, (Patria) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the company's founding, the largest Bosnian-Herzegovinian pharmaceutical manufacturer Bosnalijek has continued the campaign to donate disinfectants to institutions for the education and upbringing of children with developmental disabilities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After institutions in Zenica, Tuzla, and Mostar, donations were delivered in the past ten days to the Center "Zaštiti me" from Banja Luka, the Home for Children with Physical and/or Mental Developmental Disabilities "MARIJA – NAŠA NADA" from Široki Brijeg, JU Center for Education, Upbringing and Rehabilitation of Hearing Banja Luka, JU Center "Vladimir Nazor" Sarajevo, JU Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth Sarajevo, the Center for Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation Sarajevo, and JU Institute "Mjedenica" from Sarajevo.
When using disinfectants, their effectiveness is as important as the fact that disinfectants are safe for users. Disinfectants produced by Bosnalijek are certified and registered with the competent institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a guarantee of proven effectiveness, verified quality, and safety.
"We are continuing the campaign to donate our disinfectant products to institutions for the education and upbringing of the most vulnerable children across Bosnia and Herzegovina. We want to help these institutions as much as we can during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the significance of these and similar organizations is even greater. Also, we want as many of our fellow citizens as possible to be part of the celebration of 70 years since the start of Bosnalijek's operations, at least in this symbolic way, because Bosnalijek has always had a strong connection with all our citizens whose trust in us and our products has enabled the company's growth and development over the past seven decades," said Nedim Uzunović, General Manager of Bosnalijek.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bosnalijek has continuously donated medicines, disinfectants, and protective equipment to healthcare institutions across Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the past year and a half, numerous donations have been delivered to all clinical centers, as well as hospitals and health centers throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Such campaigns will continue in the future.
