Bosnalijek, Energoinvest and 12 other companies to be sold this year

The FBiH Government today approved the Privatization Plan and Financial Plan of the Privatization Agency of FBiH (APF) for 2015. The plan includes companies for which public calls for sale have been published multiple times, in which state capital is minority, as well as those that have operated negatively in the past period and recorded an evident decline in capital, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

These are 14 companies: Bosnalijek d.d. Sarajevo, Energopetrol d.d. Sarajevo, Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo, Aluminij d.d. Mostar, Hidrogradnja d.d. Sarajevo, Remontni zavod d.d. Travnik, Šipad export-import, Željezara Zenica, KTK d.d. Visoko, Agrokomerc d.d. Velika Kladuša, Konfekcija Borac d.d. Travnik, Fabrika duhana Mostar, PS Vitezit and Holding company Putevi BiH Sarajevo. The plan shows that these are companies that have been repeatedly included in the APF's plan for several years, with a poor financial picture, market uncertainty, and generally without significant changes in the choice of methods and ways of sale.

In 2015, the continuation of sales through the small privatization process is also planned, as well as activities for the protection of assets from passive sub-balance. After the completion of court proceedings related to property restitution, i.e., protection of assets from passive sub-balance, public bidding will be used for sale. In 2015, cooperation with cantonal privatization agencies will continue, especially regarding the control and status of the execution of contractual obligations.

The APF's Financial Plan includes revenues from the sale of companies and other sources from which expenditures will be financed in 2015. Planned total expenditures and capital expenditures amount to 7,881,000 convertible marks. Of this, 2,761,000 KM relates to current operations, 5,000,000 KM are funds for protection against eviction, and 120,000 KM for capital expenditures.
