Bosnalijek records revenue growth, besides Russia, entering Turkish market

The largest Bosnian-Herzegovinian pharmaceutical company Bosnalijek achieved a net sales revenue of 52 million KM in the first six months of this year, after the sale of the remaining state capital, reports the Patria agency.

Compared to the same period last year, a growth of 13% was recorded.

In the Russian Federation, besides the domestic market, which is the most significant for Bosnalijek, revenue growth of 16% was achieved, and in BiH by 14%.

Bosnalijek also obtained the Russian GMP certificate, which ensures long-term marketing of medicines in that important market.

After the turbulent events in Ukraine in the previous two years, which significantly affected the sales of Bosnalijek's products in that market, the continuity of supply and stabilization of sales have been re-established this year.

Bosnalijek is also satisfied with the results in the region. In Serbia, revenues grew by 9% in the first 6 months, and in Montenegro by 8%.

- Activities are also being undertaken to open new markets for Bosnalijek's products. Necessary approvals are being collected so that Bosnalijek can enter the Turkish market by the end of this year - state the company.

Bosnalijek continues to invest in the expansion and modernization of production, so starting this month, work will begin on a new Galenic facility, which will also result in the creation of additional jobs. Work on the new Quality Control is nearing completion, and relocation to the new building is expected by the end of the year.
