Bosnian Community in Milwaukee Organizes Humanitarian Drive for BiH

The Bosnian community in Milwaukee, United States of America, is organizing a collection of aid for areas affected by floods in BiH, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Three young women of Bosnian and Montenegrin origin, Amila Rizvić, Šeila Ahmetović, and Natasa Jones, have launched this campaign, and all collected items will be delivered to the Citizens' Association Komšiluk in Sarajevo, which is delivering food and medical supplies to endangered areas.

Needed items that all interested parties can donate include baby food, diapers for babies and adults, hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps), and painkillers. Baby clothes, adult clothing, as well as blankets, bedding, face masks, and rubber gloves, reports Patria.

Their motto is that no donation is too small, and monetary contributions are also welcome.

Aid is being collected on Monday between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
