Boris Tadić: Extremists who support war criminals are criminal milieu

BELGRADE, (Patria) – Head of the Bureau for Coordination of Security Services of Serbia Nebojša Stefanović announced that he will present all data on the wiretapping of Aleksandar Vučić and Tomislav Nikolić during their time in opposition at a press conference on Tuesday.

“Claiming that he has evidence that Nikolić and he were wiretapped as opposition, Vučić ‘forgot’ to mention a key point – whether he is talking about illegal or legal wiretapping when he came into contact with persons from the criminal milieu, who were under court measures,” responded former Serbian President Boris Tadić.

“The only possibility that Nikolić and Vučić were wiretapped at certain moments is when they communicated with criminals and various lawbreakers, from those who hid Hague indictees, i.e., supported that kind of illegal actions, to those who committed criminal acts. Why am I saying this? Well, it is known that criminals financed the campaigns of both Nikolić and Vučić during our terms, that they managed to do so even from abroad, that they had secret meetings abroad. The well-known meeting with Mr. Subotić Cane at the Hotel Ric and other similar circumstances, not to remind you. After all, Nikolić said that tycoons financed him, he mentioned Mišković and mentioned other tycoons from the Republic of Serbia. We did not do that, we endured accusations from various political opponents during our terms. That is the current government and the then opposition,” Tadić said.

Lawyer Vladimir Đukanović criticized Tadić, asking whether he, Đukanović, is also from that criminal milieu?

“They wiretapped him by putting me under surveillance,” Đukanović said.

“Yes, in any normal and legal state, extremists who support those accused of the most serious war crimes and call for violence are a criminal milieu and under measures,” responded the former Serbian president, as reported by the Patria News Agency.
