Borenović: RS Police cooperated with SIPA, it is necessary to determine what exactly happened

PDP President Branislav Borenović stated today in Banja Luka that the PDP Main Committee strongly supported the adoption of the law on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the proposal of which was harmonized with representatives of political parties from the Republika Srpska and which should be sent to the parliamentary procedure in the coming days, reports the Patria news agency.

"I expect that reason will prevail and that in the next few months, together with political factors from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we will adopt the law on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and fulfill the obligation that awaits us on the path to the EU, namely that foreign judges cannot be in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that we stop any kind of further political tensions," Borenović stated.

He said that the PDP will do everything to stop political chaos and to act and represent the interests of the Republika Srpska with the power of arguments, and to preserve the full security of the citizens of the Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Speaking about the situation that arose after the SIPA raid on the Bosanski Novi Police Station, Borenović said that first it is necessary to determine what exactly happened, because the PDP has information that the police cooperated correctly and were with SIPA in the station.

"The PDP condemns any violence by any institution against another institution and calls for reason in order to preserve the full safety of the citizens of the Republika Srpska," Borenović emphasized, BNTV reports.
