Veterans and Victims' Associations File Criminal Complaints with the BiH Prosecutor's Office for Non-Compliance with BiH Constitutional Court Decisions

(Patria) - Several associations submitted criminal complaints to the BiH Prosecutor's Office for, as they stated, "non-compliance with the Decisions of the BiH Constitutional Court, for disrupting and undermining the constitutional and legal order of BiH, and for illegally organizing a provocative militaristic parade and promoting rhetoric of division and hatred by the authorities of the BiH entity Republika Srpska."

“Under the Criminal Code, our criminal complaint is an initiative. There is no criminal proceedings based on a private lawsuit. Our homeland has no future without peace. Those who love BiH share our opinion. It should not be allowed to rattle weapons every now and then, to mess with people's minds. The impression is created that our state is not possible and that there is no freedom here,” said Sabaheta Čutuk, president of the association “Women Fighters 92-95,” Sarajevo Canton.

Amerisa Ahmetović, president of the civilian war victims association Svjetlost from Sarajevo, said:

“Causing unrest is not needed by anyone. We believe we should live in a unified homeland. What they are doing today, we must ensure that 1992-1995 does not repeat,” she said.

“I do not blame our government, it is powerless. This day cannot be celebrated because the RS was created on genocide. The High Representative does nothing, he only writes letters, and does not use the Bonn powers. I expected EUFOR to disperse this rabble that committed genocide, mass murders, rapes. If there were a rule of law, this would have ended long ago. I hope this building will do what is in their interest as well, for peace in BiH so that 1992 does not happen again.
